These packs are for those who are curious about starting cloth but currently do not have the financial means to do so!
My aim is to provide cloth nappies to families who are interested in making the change to reusable nappies but my priority will always be to support families in difficult circumstances that they may be facing. It is my hope to ease at least a small burden by providing these nappies to our community.
Difficult situations may include but are not limited to unemployment, low income, low socioeconomic status, displacement, domestic violence, natural disaster relief, adoption and/or fostering. These nappies were donated by generous people around Perth and Australia Wide for the use to help others in their time of need.
My mother, Sriyani, has lovingly fixed any slack elastics, I have washed, stripped, sanitised and dried and packed them before being offered to your family. Nappies are given out subject to availability and prints/colours/brands are of a random selection.
The typical nappy pack includes six or more nappies + absorbent inserts (a mix of Microfiber, bamboo, cotton or hemp ), an information card with links for fitting and washing and other handy care tips + other bonus items maybe included such as wetbags, liners, wipes. Remember that these are preloved nappies, so there maybe slight staining or discolouration on some inserts and/or covers but it is still completely safe to use on your child as they have been sanitised. For your peace of mind - we suggest washing all items in your own washing detergent before use using hot (upto 60deg) cotton wash. Photos shown are indicative only and not what you will receive.
I do not receive many Newborn sized nappies as donations - nappies you will receive will only start fitting from about 5+kgs. If you would like to start cloth nappies from birth, you might want to consider hiring a full time newborn nappy kit worth over $600 for less than a pack of disposables. POSTAGE COSTS
Nappies will be delivered to your door by courier (Metro areas) or Australia Post (outside Metro areas). Postage is flat $10 for Metro areas. If you are out of Metro areas or has a PO Box choose Express shipping for $15.
*****Please note: Actual cost of shipping for Out of Metro/PO Boxes for a pack is around $16. If you have chosen $10 but it costs me $16 I will contact you for the outstanding cost to get a pack to you!
